Description:	Seal for tax of desert guarding: "head in laurel wreath turmed to right (Antoninus Pius). The inscription running around the edge is lost, except for some letters which read ]δος [ ]οφυλ [ ] (Καρανί]δος, not enough space for ? ἐρημ]οφυλ[ακία) (["Karanis" and ? name of the tax]". Attached to custom house receipt.
