The Genealogy of the Memphite Priestly Elite (TM 113325) is a late 22nd dynasty (8th century BC) limestone relief currently held in the Egyptian Museum of Berlin.
It was set up by a priest with the name Ankhefensekhmet (try saying that three times a row without spraining your tongue), which means 'May he live for Sekhmet'. He was, surprise, surprise, a prophet of the goddess Sekhmet, and 'the god's father of of Ptah', two titles connected to the temple of Ptah in Memphis.
The stela lists Ankhefensekhmet's forefathers with their priestly titles in a genealogy going back more than 50 generations, or roughly 1,300 years. Only some of these data can be confirmed by other sources, and some also contradicts it. Some researchers are therefore skeptical and believe that Ankhefensekhmet's lineage is at least partially invented.
