Details: Then one comes to Myos Hormos, which is also called Aphrodite's Harbour; ... Then, next, one comes to the Akathartos Kolpos, which also lies opposite the Thebais, like Myos Hormos, and is really 'akathartos', for it is roughened by reefs and submarine rocks, and, most of the time, by tempestuous winds. And here, deep inland on the recess of the gulf, lies a city Berenike.'
