| Details: | 'Most scholars, indeed, derive the name Eremboi from 'eran embainein' / 'to go into the earth', a name which later peoples changed to Trogodytai for the sake of greater clearness. Now these Trogodytai are that tribe of Arabians who live on the side of the Arabian Gulf next to Egypt and Aethiopia.' |
