TM Arch id: 321
Protagonist: Frange, monk and spiritual leader (christophoros), was also a bookbinder. Several texts are written in his own hand. He is also known by texts found elsewhere.
Description: About 800 ostraca were found in tomb TT 29, a few hundred metres from the monastery of Epiphanios. This tomb was used by Frange as a living and working place, because the floor was covered by pieces of papyrus, leather and cords. Many texts are outgoing and it is remarkable that they are found in the house of the sender.
Studies: Boud’hors / Heurtel, Les ostraca coptes de la TT 29. Autour du moine Frangé, 2010 (with earlier bibliography)
Works: More texts of the archive are found in tomb C.3 and will be published by Alain Delattre.
