In 1997 an important papyrus in abnormal hieratic was rediscovered in the library of Queen's college; for a first description, see Journal of Egyptian Archaeology 84 (1998), pp.234-236. The text is literary and includes several distinct narrations, one of them referring to Ramses II. It can be dated ca. 700 BC.
