Runic

TM Language id: 59

Language family and branch: Indo-European, Germanic

Link(s): Glottolog, Wikipedia (language), Runenprojekt Kiel

Runic is the name for the script variants of disputed origin that were used in Northern Europe to write down Germanic languages.

Trismegistos should have most of the Runic inscriptions: the older inscriptions in 'Elder Futhark' were entered as they are listed in the online Runenprojekt Kiel, while those in Anglo-Saxon Futhorc were entered on the basis of the RuneS project. See also Pseudo-Runic.
