TM Language id: 52

Language family and branch: Afro-Asiatic, Semitic (Northwest Semitic)

Link(s): Glottolog, Wikipedia (language), Wikipedia (script)

Palmyrene is the name for a dialect of Aramaic associated with the city of Palmyra and written in the cursive form of Aramaic with the same name.

Trismegistos should have most of the Palmyrene texts on the basis of D.R. Hillers & E. Cussini, Palmyrene Aramaic Texts, Baltimore, 1996. There seems to be no database for Palmyrene at present.
