Greek: Ηλις
Gender: Male
Linguistic origins: Greek
Notes: In LGPN, Helios (Nam 9420) and Elis (both male and female) are typical of the Black Sea region, so it should either be Helios and Helis or Elios and Elis. There Helis (m.) is considered a separate name for Attica, but on the stone there is no difference in aspiration. Since the few examples for Helios are dubious, it is kept as a separate name
