Epitaph of Allia Potestas

The Epitaph of Allia Potestas (TM 263465 ) is a marble epitaph of the first to second century AD (?). It was found in Rome in 1912, and is now in the Museo Nazionale delle Terme in Rome.
The tombstone is inscribed with a poem in hexameters and pentameters, and is famous because of its unusual contents with surprising erotic details. Apparently this hardworking freedwoman ('first to rise and last to sleep') lived together 'in harmony' with two young lovers, kept her limbs smooth, and 'the curve of her breasts was small on her snow-white bosom'. The author, probably one of the two lovers, mourns her loss and adds that he is now 'growing old by himself'.
