Hosea Commentary Scroll

The Hosea Commentary Scroll (TM 397687 ) is a small fragment of a leather Dead Sea scroll found in Cave 4 of Qumran. Dated to the 1st century BC - 1st century AD, it contains a commentary on Hosea, one of the Minor prophets of the Hebrew Bible, and refers to a famine as a punishment for the unfaithful. The manuscript is now in the Palestine Archaeological Museum in Jeruzalem.
