Codex Marchalianus

The Codex Marchalianus (TM 62233 ) is a Greek Old Testament (Septuagint) manuscript of the 6th century from Egypt. At some stage, it was brought to southern Italy, from where it traveled to the abbey of St. Denis in Paris. It was acquired by the otherwise obscure French collector (?) René Marchal (Renatus Marchalus Boismoraeus?), who gave the codex its name. After two more French owners, the manuscript was bought by the Vatican, where it still is today.
